The College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) in the University of the Philippines, Diliman (UPD) offers graduate programs in Women and Development Studies (WD), under the Department of Women and Development Studies (DWDS).
The WD program “aims to provide a historical and comprehensive perspective to the study of gender and development particularly in the context of the South and the Philippines” (About DWDS). The DWDS has Master of Arts (MAWD) and Diploma (Dip. in WD) course offerings open to fresh graduates, professionals, and practitioners in development work.
For the academic year 2014-2015, the deadline for applications is on June 15, 2014. Classes start on August 7, 2014. Program brochures, applications forms, and contact information to the Student Records Office (SRO) are available on the CSWCD website.
